[music]Hi. I'm Ned Ehrlich, a partner at Anapol Schwartz and a certified athletic trainer. I've been involved in professional sports since 1979. For the last 20 years I've been representing athletes and workers who have suffered work injures.
No worker should experience a work injury or the loss of a career, but it happens. Generally the law provides an injured worker with medical and wage-loss benefits after such an injury, but athlete's worker compensation claims are significantly more complex than traditional worker compensation claims. They require core understanding of the relationship between numerous state laws, collective bargaining agreements and player contracts.
Because of my longstanding relationship with all of the sports unions, I'm in a unique position to consult with numerous attorneys to make an accurate determination in these cases. I have successfully handled those claims for hundreds of injured workers.
Should you need legal assistance with a work or athletic injury, please contact me.
